Stargirl Movie review.

Stargirl  is a movie adaptation of the novel  STARGIRL by Jerry Spinelli. It is a great movie about being true to oneself no matter what others may think. I highly reccomend this movie to everyone it has good moral lessons.
The story begins with Leo (Graham Verchere) who was bullied as a kid. Because of that he made a decision to blend in and behave like everyone else instead of being himself and standing out. This continued till his 16th birthday when Stargirl (winner of 2016 America's got talent Grace VanderWaal) who has been homeschooled by her mum all her life enrols in Leo's school.
Stargirl wins  the hearts of the students during a football match as she goes to the field at half time and sings a school-spirit songwith he ukulele. Their school team wins the game which was the first in a long time and the team sees Stargirl as a goodluck charm. Leo after seeing her the first day she enrolled was very attracted to her and eventually they began to date. He is happy to  fit in but Stargirl while trying to stand out and be herself was hated by the entire school. Stargirl coul8take it anymore and she and her mother move out of their small town.
Stargirl taught Leo and others the importance of being oneself. The students all tried to fit-in and be invisible while Stargirl wanted to be seen. Stargirl had integrity,  she did not want to pretend like the others were doing she wanted to be herself.  This movie not only teaches the viewers to be themselves it also encourages viewers to accept people's  different personalities and not try to change it. Also, it talks about kindness . Stargirl was always kind to people and she encouraged the students to be kind to each other.
Overall, the moral lesson of this movie is to be yourself because we are all special and unique in our own way.
