Love.Wedding. Repeat

LOVE.WEDDING.REPEAT. Is a romantic comedy and it is based in the French film Plan Du Table. In this version there are alternate versions of a wedding day and the bride is English while the groom is Italian and the wedding takes place in Rome.
The story is about Hayley (Eleanor Tomlinson) and Roberto (Tiziano Caputo). The story  begins when Hayley's older brother Jack (Dam Clafin) meets Dina (Olivia Munn) an American reporter who was a friend of his sister. Jack was captivated by Dina but they did not spend much time together so he could not explore his feelings.

Three years later its Hayley's wedding day.  Hayley informs Jack that Dina would be attending the ceremony and also Amanda (Freida Pinto) Jack's crazy ex girlfriend would be there and they were all to sit at the same table. Since Jack and Hayley are orphans, Jack walks her down the aisle. They have a very close relationship with each other, they are like best friends and they can rely on each other.
During the reception,  Marc (Jack Farthing) who has been obsessed with Hayley since she was a teenager gate crashes the event. Hayley sights him and she gets hysterical and began to panic because she knew Marc wants to ruin the ceremony because he claims they are soul mates.  Hayley turns to Jack for help . She gives him a sedative to put a few drops in Marc's drink  but Jack refuses.  After much persuasion he agrees to do it. Does Hayley have her fairytale wedding or does Marc destroys it?
This movie shows the relationship between brother and sister /siblings.  Jack and Hayley have a very good sibling relationship.  They tell each other everything and look up to each other for help and support. They could do almost  anything for each other that is why Jack agreed to put the sedative in Marc's drink. Overall this movie is funny and entertaining.

Their deal states that if either Mel or Mia leaves the company Claire would get 51% of the company. And they would have to pay her. Mia and Mel assured Claire that their friendship is strong and money won't  come between them. Claire tries  her best to manipulate them.and cause disagreement between them. Does she succeed? Does Mia and Mel's friendship die or survive?
LIKE A BOSS is a female empowerment movie . It encourages females to strive for greatness and also to feel beautiful in their skin. It  also speaks a lot on teamwork and friendship. Mia and Mel have a great friendship admired by those around them. Even their old college friends were shocked to see them running a company together. Their friendship stood strong no matter what they went through. People like Claire are jealous of those kind of friendship. Claire is so selfish , rude and probably lonely that is what she tried to sabotage Mia and Mel's friendship. She was a bitter person and she wished she had the kind of happiness and friendship Mel and Mia had. This movie reiterates the fact that true friends stay together and pass through the ups and downs of life together no matter what comed their way.

Some people are scared to hurt or loose the ones they love. So they create walls around themselves and  block everyone out.

Bad Boys For life movie review.

Bad Boys For Life is the third "BAD BOYS" movie and probably the last.  The movie is about two police officers Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) and Mike (Will Smith) .
In Bad Biys for life, Marcus revaluates his career as a police officer. He just became a grand-father and he wants to spend more time with his family. In other words he wants to retire. When Mike found  out, he tried to convince Marcus not to retire and told him  they were partners in the force for life in his own words they are "bad boys for life"
Meanwhile, in Mexico a witch (bruja) Isabel Aretas (Kate Del Castillo) broke out of prison . The breakout was executed with the help of her sin Armando (Jacob Scipio). Their plan is to get back at (kill) those who were behind the death of her husband and her imprisonment. Mike is one of those people. Armando carries out the series of murder but he disobeyed her. Isabel told him to kill Mike last  but he went after Mike first fortunately for Mike he survived the attack.
The attempted murder made Marcus agitated and he took the idea of retirement seriously. He tried to convince Mike once again to retire but Mike wants to catch armando.  Mike persuaded Marcus to help him catch Armando and he succeeds after promising that it would be their last case. They embark on the hunt for Armando and they get a huge surprise at the end.
Bad boys for life  has a strong family theme. Marcus wants to spend more time with his family and Armando wants to avenge his fathers death. The duo  (Mike and Marcus) are more aware of the violence in the world and this introduces the audience to a kind and gentle version of the Bad Boys.

Overall, this movie is great. There is not so much violence and it has a lot of funny scenes that are sure to make you laugh. I enjoyed every bit of this movie and I highly recommend it.

The Way Back movie review

Sometimes,  life may get very hard and difficult for people. Some may be able to overcome the difficult times and get their lives back while others may accept defeat and give up on life.
The Way Back is about Jack Cunningham (Ben Afleck). While growing up, Jack was a great basketball player for his high school. He had a great life  and opportunities were lined up for him to make his life better. He had a bright future and everyone had high expectations for him. His world as he knew it came to an end when he lost his son due to a terminal illness.  He did not handle the loss of his son well which made his wife to leave him. He cut everyone off from his life both his friends and family and he was hurting in silence.
Jack turned to alcohol and drugs to hide his sorrows and eventually he became an alcoholic drinking almost everytime.  He sneaks alcohol to work inside cups and flasks to make it look like water or coffee, he drinks in the shower, he drinks and drive and he spends his evenings/nights   in a bar and he has to be carried home by his fathers old friend.  Jack's old high school needed a basketball coach  and Jack was picked for the job.  He sees this new job as an opportunity to heal himself and make his life better.
This movie is about trying to move forward after life's painful blow. It will be relatable to parents especially fathers. It is not suitable for kids as there is a lot of cursing in this movie. If Jack believed in God he would have  handled the death of his son better. God can see us through any difficulty that may come our way in life. He is always there for us.  God knows everything we are passing through and he won't allow you to pass through a situation that you can not overcome. Just accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour and watch him take care of you.

Stargirl Movie review.

Stargirl  is a movie adaptation of the novel  STARGIRL by Jerry Spinelli. It is a great movie about being true to oneself no matter what others may think. I highly reccomend this movie to everyone it has good moral lessons.
The story begins with Leo (Graham Verchere) who was bullied as a kid. Because of that he made a decision to blend in and behave like everyone else instead of being himself and standing out. This continued till his 16th birthday when Stargirl (winner of 2016 America's got talent Grace VanderWaal) who has been homeschooled by her mum all her life enrols in Leo's school.
Stargirl wins  the hearts of the students during a football match as she goes to the field at half time and sings a school-spirit songwith he ukulele. Their school team wins the game which was the first in a long time and the team sees Stargirl as a goodluck charm. Leo after seeing her the first day she enrolled was very attracted to her and eventually they began to date. He is happy to  fit in but Stargirl while trying to stand out and be herself was hated by the entire school. Stargirl coul8take it anymore and she and her mother move out of their small town.
Stargirl taught Leo and others the importance of being oneself. The students all tried to fit-in and be invisible while Stargirl wanted to be seen. Stargirl had integrity,  she did not want to pretend like the others were doing she wanted to be herself.  This movie not only teaches the viewers to be themselves it also encourages viewers to accept people's  different personalities and not try to change it. Also, it talks about kindness . Stargirl was always kind to people and she encouraged the students to be kind to each other.
Overall, the moral lesson of this movie is to be yourself because we are all special and unique in our own way.

To The Beat ! Back 2 school

This movie takes you back to your teenage years in high school. I highly recommend it for teenagers and young adults.  This movie is a sequel to To the Beat!  Which was released in 2018.
In To The Beat! Back 2 school,  the students are back after their spring break and they prepare for the upcoming school dance. Not too long after resumption the principal makes a huge announcement about a competition where the prestigious Triad Conservatory Of Fine Arts will award 3 scholarships for their 2 weeks summer camp. The scholarship will be given to 1 student each from dance, drama and music.

The students prepare earnestly for the competition and the school dance and they also struggle with teenage life. They feel a lot of emotions and they sometimes find it hard to understand themselves.  They begin to have misunderstanding, miscommunication, bad behaviour and even personal rivalries. This test their relationships and loyalties which will either grow strong or weak by the end of spring.
This movie makes teens know that it is okay to feel a lot of emotions but they should always talk to someone older for advice and not try to bottle everything up within themselves. This movie also has a strong theme of friendship. Characters are seen trying to make new friends and holding on to old friends. This movie talks about jealousy briefly.  This is shown when  one character was angry with her twin sister for trying to be friends with someone she dislikes.
Overall, this movie is about teenagers growing up and trying to find themselves as they go through a rollercoaster of emotions. I recommend this movie for teenagers because a lot of them would be able to relate with the storyline. That is all for now guys. I hope you all are well and staying safe during this pandemic.  Ensure that you are practicing social distancing and obeying your government.  Till my next post , bye.
