Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp is about events that occurred after Captain America: Civil War and before The Avengers : Infinity War. Ant-Man and the Wasp begins when Paul Rudd ( Ant man/Scott Lang) who was undergoing house arrest as his punishment for his involvement in Captain America : Civil War. It was a few days for his sentence to be over when he had a "dream" that he saw Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet Van Dyne) the wife of his former colleague that he had fallen out with Michael Douglas (Hank Pym) in the quantum realm which he was stucked in briefly in Ant-Man.
He contacted Hank and his daughter Hope/ The Wasp (Evangeline Lily) and told them about it and they had been searching for a way to find out if Janet was still alive and if they could save her. This news brought renewed hope to them. Hank and his daughter Hope who were on the run from the authorities worked together with Scott in secrecy to save Janet whom they had a strong proof that she was alive. They were faced with oppositions from a black market broker Sonny Burch (Walton Goggins) who had a client that was willing to pay a huge sum of money for Hank's lab which is full of advanced quantum technology. And also Ava/ Ghost (Hannah John'-Kamen) who was suffering from a metabolic disorder which makes her go through painful phases in the physical realm and she wanted to use the advance technology to save herself before she phase out completely and dies.
Despite the oppositions together Scott, Hank and Hope saved Janet from he quantum realm without being caught or hindering Scott's release from house arrest.
Ant-man and the Wasp directed by Peyton Reed contains genres such as action and adventure, comedy, science fiction and fantasy. It was released on July 6th 2018 and it runs for 118 minutes. The movie is rated ok for children from the age of 10 and above due to the violent actions though not a much as are present in other marvel moves. Apart from containing a bit of violence it encourages virtues like forgiveness, love, redemption, courage and team work.
